Viraaj, founded by Hema Thakorlal, based in London has been growing successfully since 1993. Hema's inspiration draws on her training at The London College of Fashion and western labels such as Cerruti, Joseph and Donna Karan. She has always had a keen interest in Indian wear and a family background in garment manufacturing.

Alighting the catwalk for the last decade, with an array of classic, flirty and romantic looks, she has a keen eye for high quality fabrics and detailed embroideries and well cut garments. Hema favours the use of pure crepes, fresh luscious colours and creating elegance, which is very evident in her collection.

Hema's designs regularly feature in Asian lifestyle magazines. She also sponsors outfits for many music videos and shows. She exhibits her collections annually at the Asian Wedding Exhibition in London and other fashion shows throughout London.

Hema's success lies in serving her clients with unique, high quality clothing and an ever growing and loyal client base. Her clients, although global, are mainly from UK and USA.

We have new collections arriving on a weekly basis and these are not always updated on our website.
